Our Story & Mission

Baker Tree Services is a full-service tree care company serving western Maryland since 1996, originally as Baker Landscaping, where we offered tree service as a branch of our landscaping services. In 2003, we decided to get out of landscaping to focus on tree services, tree maintenance, and lot clearing exclusively. We specialize in tree pruning and trimming, tree removal, and stump removal. We are fully insured and all employees are licensed.

We take great pride in the work that we do. We follow the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) standards practices for proper pruning, which ensures that only proper cuts will be made. We take the safety of our employees and your property seriously. We wear the proper gear while doing your tree work and we follow strict safety procedures.

Certified-Arborist Tree Services

An arborist is an advanced certification earned from the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) that establishes a person as a specialist in caring for trees. To earn the certification, an applicant must have an extensive work history or academic history in tree care, pass a comprehensive exam, and participate in ongoing education in emerging arboricultural techniques.
